They are, if your screen is lower than your eyes. Ensure that your screen is at eye level when you are video conferencing by raising your laptop, iPad, or monitor. For your smartphone, simply rest your elbow on a surface with your phone in hand; it will be just about at eye level. Get a keyboard and mouse so you can set, and leave, your screen at the right height for you. If you: wear progressive lenses or bifocals, ensure that your eyes are level with or fall just above the top of the screen don’t wear lenses, ensure that your eyes fall on the top third of the screen when you’re looking straight ahead Finally, pull the monitor closer and gradually slide it back until it’s comfortable.
